During september to march thousands of demoiselle Cranes and ducks also visit this resort. Lake View Hotel and Resort is also famous for Safaris by Jeeps , Camels and horses.

| Machia safari forest reserve lacated adjacent to the Lake View Resort is spread over an area of 1000 acres of land. It provides shelter to thousands of reptiles, wild boar, porcupine, hare, blue bull, monkeys, fox and host of rare species of animals and birds. It has a fascinating diversity of flora and fauna. The safari Reservs has a fort, where freedom fighters were kept as prisoners. Ahead of Machia safari park is the famous Kaylana dam, where water comes as far as from Himalaya through Indra Gandhi Canal, which supplies water to this desert city. |
